Junglefowl

The junglefowl (Gallus lafayettii), also known as "wali kukula" in Sinhalese, is a species of galliform endemic to Sri Lanka. Recognizable by its colorful plumage and distinctive crest, the wild hen is a symbol of national pride and is also considered one of the ancestors of domestic chickens.



Sri Lankan Elephant

The Sri Lankan elephant (Elephas maximus maximus) is an Asian subspecies of elephant, native to the island. Ceylonese Lion
